To safeguard the rights and well-being of women by promoting awareness, ensuring effective grievance redressal, fostering gender equality, and empowering women through education, counselling, and capacity-building initiatives.

 

Objectives and Activities of Women Protection CellĀ 

  • To ensure a safe, secure, and gender-sensitive environment for women students, faculty, and staff on the college campus.
  • To prevent and address sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and all forms of violence against women through appropriate grievance redressal mechanisms.
  • To create awareness about women’s rights, gender equality, legal provisions, and institutional policies through seminars, workshops, and awareness programmes.
  • To provide counselling, guidance, and support to women facing academic, personal, or social challenges.
  • To empower women students by organizing programmes on self-defence, health, leadership, personality development, and skill enhancement.
  • To promote a culture of respect, equality, and dignity by encouraging gender sensitization and ensuring equal opportunities for all members of the college community.
