The Department of Crop Physiology was established at Sri Mekapati Goutham Reddy Agricultural College, Udayagiri, SPSR Nellore District in the year 2022. The department is offering undergraduate (UG) course for the students enrolled at this college. The department offering 4 courses pertaining to Crop Physiology for UG programme. The department has formulated innovative methods for conducting practical classes for UG. Audio-visual aids and multimedia system were introduced to inculcate interest and inquisitiveness in the principles and application of Crop Physiological processes.
